your gas purchases. Gas rebate credit cards have been around for awhile but they
typically required you to purchase gas from a particular brand (i.e. Exxon, Shell, BP).
But now there are many gas rebate credit cards that will give you cash back when
used at any gas station. Gas rebate credit cards give you 3% to 6% cash back on
your gas purchases and 1% to 3% cash back on all other purchases. As you can see

Don't Pay an Annual Fee

at the fine print to make sure it does not have a one. An annual fee could wipe out

Some gas credit cards have introductory offers where you can earn double cash
back for a certain period of time. If the card normally gives you 3% cash back on gas
purchases it will give you 6% cash back during that introductory period. The length of
the introductory period varies between 1 to 12 months depending on the card.
